To Purchase from South Star: South Star Moulding is a wholesale only, to-the-trade supplier of picture framing products. To purchase products from South Star you MUST meet the following criteria (NO EXCEPTIONS):
> Your primary business must be picture framing, photography, artist or other industry related business.
> You must provide us with a current state tax exempt certificate and number .
We reserve the right to refuse to sell to anyone who does not meet these criteria.

Pricing: We attempt to make our customers aware of price changes as they occur BUT prices will be subject to change without prior notice.
Credit Accounts: Open credit accounts are available to full-time, retail-only businesses with good credit histories. To establish an open credit account you must complete a South Star credit application listing current banking information and credit references with which you have open account history. Please allow us 2-3 weeks to process your application. All orders are COD or PREPAID until an open account is established. We also accept VISA, MASTERCARD and DISCOVER credit cards.
Credit Terms: All open accounts are NET 30 DAYS from the DATE OF INVOICE.
Past Due Accounts: A 1 1/2% FINANCE CHARGE will be added to all PAST DUE balances. An account is PAST DUE as of day 31.
30 - 60 DAYS PAST DUE: Account is subject to review and may be referred to COD until current.
60 DAYS PAST DUE: Account is automatically COD PLUS a pre-set portion of the past due amount.
90 DAYS PAST DUE: Account is closed and referred for collection.
Returned Checks: A $25 SERVICE CHARGE is added to all returned checks. Multiple occurances will incur a NO CHECKS ACCEPTED policy.
Phone Orders: To better serve our customers all orders will be read back to you to prevent mistakes.
Return Policy: All returns must be first approved by a customer service representative before a credit is issued.
Delivery Orders: We offer DELIVERY to FULL-TIME, COMMERCIAL FRAMING shops located in RETAIL developed areas of Nashville and other designated areas. There are currently NO MINIMUMS required or DELIVERY CHARGES added. Orders for delivery must be received no later than 1:00 pm on the day prior to delivery.
Pick Up Orders: All pick-up orders should be phoned in at least 4 hours prior to the desired pick-up time. We will do our best to accomodate your requests but pick-ups will be filled on a priority basis.
UPS & Motor Freight Orders: We offer SAME DAY UPS shipping on all orders received by 12:00 Noon Central time. FREE UPS shipping is offered on chop orders of $65 or more. UPS charges are prepaid and added to your invoice. Minimum order for UPS matboard shipment is 20 sheets. A packing charge of $2.00 per box is added to matboard shipments. Packages 84 united inches (length+girth) or over are UPS Oversize and are charged at 25 LBS or actual weight, whichever is greater. Maximum is 130 UI and 70 LBS per package. Motor freight shipments are shipped FREIGHT COLLECT.
Vendor Partner Orders: Vendor partner orders are regularly placed on certain scheduled days of each week (ex: Omega Moulding: ordered each Monday AM.) Please contact South Star Customer Service for a current ordering schedule.
Back Orders: We do not automatically backorder out-of-stock items. We gladly place a re-order for items at your request.
Chop Orders: Chop orders are cut with 1/8' allowance unless otherwise requested. Specify 'CUT EXACT' for no allowance.
Length Moulding Orders: One stick minimum per pattern on length orders. Moulding is sold in lengths which will vary from 6' to 12'. We will always attempt to fill your order as closely as possible to the quantity you requested. UPS shipments have a maximum length of 8'. We will cut lengths in the following sizes unless otherwise requested:
12' cut to 7'/5' ~ 11' cut to 6'/5' ~ 10' cut to 6'/4' ~ 9' cut to 6'/3'
Discounts: Discounts are based on the quantity purchased or are pre-set based on your monthly/annual volume. Please refer to our CUSTOMER ALL-STAR REWARDS PROGRAM for details
